Griffinworx in partnership with the eBay Foundation announced the winner of the DC eBay Startup Cup Challenge on Friday October 13th. After four months of intense coaching, and pitches, PT Chat was selected from a pool of 72 highly talented companies to take home the first-place prize of $10,000.
The budding D.C.-based startup, licenses a mobile app and a professional development series designed to help schools and districts ramp up student achievement by eliminating barriers to parent teacher collaboration.
"There were so many incredible companies in this contest," said Brandon Best, CEO and Founder of PT Chat. "But we worked extremely hard and have a clear vision of how we can help students, families, and schools work together in a more seamless way to improve student achievement."
